If you've liked what you've seen so far, you can check out the city a little more in-depth. The History of Waldo is deep, extensive, and well worth looking into. To find out more about Waldo’s history, use this to go back in time. Waldo of today is a small, down-home city, with the ability to reach the big city in a matter of minutes. We offer everything you need, and if we don’t have it, you can find it within a matter of miles of us. Waldo City Square houses the former Waldo Community School, which is now Waldo City Hall.

The building also includes the Waldo Historical Society. They have tons of items in their museum, and it's a wealth of information. They are worth looking into. If you want more information on them, just here's the collection!

On the second floor is Waldo’s own Emergency Operations Center. To get more information on them just listen close and press. It was created by the Gainesville Amateur Radio Society to help the city in emergency situations such as Hurricanes and is greatly appreciated. If you want more information on GARS, tune in here. Plus, right next to City Hall is the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department Substation.
